About Family house at Portes-Chalkidiki!

With lots of love we offer our holiday house to you, to enjoy great moments of relaxation and happiness at its amazing garden, smelling the aroma of the flowers, listening only to the cicadas’ singing…

INDOOR

Fully equipped for summer living, our family house has two bedrooms with queen double beds in them and spacious wardrobes. Furthermore there are two sofas in the living room that convert into single beds, so the house can accomodate six people total.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to cook or to serve a meal, next to a comfortable dining area. There is air conditioning in the living areas, so you will enjoy a perfect environment inside the house!

OUTDOOR

There is a wonderful green garden full of plants and trees around, with lawn, patio, chaise lounges and a shower next to the house where you can take your bath with warm water, heated of the sun! There is also a covered area with lounge chairs and sofas to sit in, equipped with an overhead fan. Our beautiful garden is also equipped with a covered, built in barbeque for you to use and there is also a plastic swimming pool one [1mtr. height one 1.30 width, check the photos], where your children or even you will have great moments of fun! In fact, if you don't feel like going to the beach one day, you can easily spend a day sitting comfortably out in the garden, sunbathing in the comfort of the house.

*In the garden, there is a 27sq. meter guest house for staff to stay in while you are holidaying here, if you wish to bring a nanny/au pair or house help along on your vacation.

The area is the only gateway to the land-entrance to Kassandra, on the other side, and its geographical morphology makes it the narrowest strip of land in Halkidiki. A lane consisting of sand and beautiful nature, surrounded by two bays, the Thermaikos and Toroneos. This gives the impression to the visitor that it is on an island, since the area is wet all over the sea.

In the area you will find endless beaches with fine sand, pebbles or stone, ending in crystal clear and warm sea and surrounded by settlements with cosmopolitan surroundings and intense nightlife.

BEACHES

The closest ones are:

*Beach of Agios Mamas, 0000. Endless beach - 10 kilometers wide, next to the wetlands protected by the NATURA convention.

*Beach of Potidea, just 0000. Tourist with a pedestrian and cycling street, ideal for families with children.

*Palea Fokea (area of Glyka) 000, with ancient pine trees and crystal clear waters.

*Beach of Afytos, in Kassandra at a distance of 000 with fantastic views of Sithonia and turquoise waters.

*Kokkinakavou Beach, 000 in the Sani area. Ideal for Surfing and Kite surfing.

*Flogita Beach - Nea Plagia, 000. Busy beach with many bars and nightlife.

Beaches with golden sand and emerald waters in Kallithea, Hanioti, Pefkohori, Glarokavos, Agia Paraskevi, Poseidon, Nea Skioni Fourka, Sani and Dionysos.

*In Sithonia, Kalyves beach 000. At the top of the Toroneos gulf, next to the olive groves is the village with the long beach.

*Gerakini beach, 15 km from the entrance of Sithonia, and many other idyllic beaches in Sithonia: Agios Ioannis, Kalogria, Elia, Marmaris, Tristinika, Kalamitsi Platanitsi, Armenistis, Vourvourou, Kavourotrypes etc.
