About A Quinta do Soutinho
Quinta do Soutinho is located on the eastern slope of the S. Mamede mountain range, in the Natural Park, in the parish of S. Julião, Portalegre county. From here you can enjoy a landscape of rare beauty and breathe the good airs of the mountains purified by abundant pine forests, chestnut trees and natural meadow. Quinta do Soutinho, licensed for tourism in rural areas, has a cheerful and well equipped country house with the house has the following composition:
- Room no. 1 has a double bed with private bathroom;
- Room no. 2 has a double bed and a single sofa bed w / private bathroom;
- Room no. 3 has a double bed and a single bed w / private bathroom;
- Kitchen: has a well equipped kitchen for a family cooking meals;
- Living room with 50m2, which serves as living room and dining room w / Private bathroom.
The house is very good and has all the utensils that are needed, namely cutlery, etc. It has air conditioning. It also has a games room with ping pong and table-tennis, swimming pool and covered car parks. Starting at the "Holiday House" there are several walking routes. The house is located in the Natural Park of Serra de S. Mamede with a very beautiful landscape. It is a very safe and quiet place for both adults and children. Here there is no danger of attack, kidnapping or robbery. There is the locality of Port of the Sword to about 3Km where there is a good restaurant. There is another locality, named Portagem, 7Km from the very beautiful "Casa de Férias", with several restaurants, swimming pools including a river and other equipment. The 13/14 km we have the city of Portalegre with several supermarkets, hospital, health center, etc. and the villages of Marvão (candidate for World Heritage) and Vide Castle. All these localities are very beautiful and have historical patrimony to visit. A little further away, about 60 km away, we have the city of Elvas with a very important historical patrimony, which is World Heritage, worthy of being visited.
