Athanati Villas are a small group of seven self catering apartments clustered around a swimming pool. There are one, two & a three bedroom apartment in the complex run for many years by Yiannis & Caris Gallos. Each apartment has a living room with an extra bed/beds, a fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom with bath & shower & an air conditioning unit. Balconies have views of the sea. The pool is exclusively for Athanati Villa clients. 

BEACHES

There are several beaches in the vicinity of Athanati Villas. The nearest one a mere 70 metres from the villa is a small pebbly beach ideal for snorkeling. Next door is a sandy/pebble beach with sun loungers available owned by the hotel. Less than 10 minutes walk away is the popular sandy beach of Ammoudara with sunloungers, umbrellas and coffee served on the beach.

There are also a couple of tavernas and a supermarket. There is also Almiros beach about two kilometers away on the road into town and the best beaches approximately 5 kilometres in the opposite direction in Kalo Horio.

SIGHTSEEING

The beautiful island of Crete is home to picturesque scenery and stunning historical and archeological sites. There are many beautiful surroundings to explore, including Windmills, Watermills, a Lighthouse, Olive Groves, a Monastery and many ruins and gorges. The Krista gorge and Richtis gorge with its incredible waterfall are just two examples of the beauty on offer.
